The museum itself consists of a historic train station, several marshalling yards, and a covered museum building where the meeting will take place. The paving and floor are mostly cobblestones and several (ground-level) train tracks. To visit the museum, you have to cross several train tracks, both inside and outside the buildings. The railway crossings outside are equipped with rubber mats.

The meeting room is located on the 1st floor (2nd floor US) of the museum and can be accessed by elevator.

The Railway Museum has five wheelchairs that can be borrowed free of charge based on availability. To reserve a wheelchair, you can send an email to info@spoorwegmuseum.nl stating your name, date and time. You can report to the cashiers at the Maliebaan station upon arrival, they will help you further. There are two wheelchair accessible toilets in the Railway Museum.
