A Centre of Excellence in Remote and Decentralised Clinical Trials

Trials@Home aims to reshape clinical trial design, conduct and operations, by developing and piloting standards, recommendations and tools for the definition and operationalisation of remote decentralised clinical trials (RDCTs) in Europe. Given COVID-19’s impact of shuttering nearly the entire global clinical trial infrastructure, Trials@Home will pilot tools that allow the widespread acceptance and use of RDCTs in Europe, thus reducing the need for a participant to visit a clinical trial centre, if at all.
